Is Bill McAllister available?
If you want a non music guy to put you to sleep, sure.
He used to host Hamtramck House Party on 97.1 back when it was a rock station. He knows something about music, maybe just not your type of music. His wife used to make music.
He said on air that Roger Waters was still in Pink Floyd. This was at CSX, mind you. He was a terrible fit then and a terrible fit now.
Screamin’ Scott is talented. I don’t see him as a good fit for mornings, but I know he’ll do his best to adapt.

The day 97.1 let Bill and Sara go, I never listened to their morning show again. And I liked Jamie a lot.
Congrats to Screamin’!
I always thought Bill was great with Sara on 97.1; not so much when he was on 106.7 or 94.7 - I guess with those two stations, he might have been voice-tracking. Say what you want about Bill, but I thought he related to the audience quite well.
For the record, I thought that Sara was much better on 97.1 than Heather.

WCSX is playing Closer by NIN.
I think hell just froze over.
Obviously, WCSX isn't gonna clear out their longstanding overplayed war horses like Journey and Styx, but if they keep moving forward, what does WRIF do? Mainstream rock blows and they aren't gonna cannibalize CSX, so....
I'm getting ahead of myself. They'll never do away with Foreigner.

Wow, someone at Beasley needs some Canva lessons... I hope he doesn't sound like they have made him look....
He does a fun, irreverent radio show. He also has hosted and organized a number of events to support local charities and local musicians over the years.
It is amazing how much better WCSX sounds from an audio cleanliness standpoint versus WRIF. The processing is so much better on 94.7.

Well that song came out in 1994, 32 years ago as that is it may be.
In 1994, when CSX was playing classic rock, it was songs from early 60's...so this is where we are now.

That is very true but there's no reason to play the same 250 songs over and over again. If Classic Rock covers 60 years that playlist should be massive.
They need to play Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Linkin Park, Korn, Slipknot, Deftones, Papa Roach. All sold millions of rock albums 25 years ago. in the '90s, CSX was playing '70s rock.
Anyone know how long a non compete could last???? I realize it must vary.
Can the agreement also stop u from talking to a future employer until its up??
Just wondering??
