I was there through the whole game. Was a little surprised Montero went back out in the 7th but I don’t blame Hinch for that. He was pitching well overall. I do blame him for having Anderson warming in the 6th, then the 7th when Montero was yanked. While Seabold gave up a homer, most of his pitches were where they should be. I trust him more than Anderson.
Not often you see an ump get sick and leave the game. The three ump setup is usually used in the high minors (sometimes Triple-A does have four) so they should know how to handle it.
McGonigle is so poised at the plate even when he doesn’t get a hit. You rarely see a bad at bat from him. Also made a nice play at third to open the game.
Jahmai Jones finally got a hit, he has to start heating up especially with Max Clark breathing down his neck. Perez is at the point where he’s a fourth outfielder. Baez looked lost at the plate but he’s not getting benched anytime soon.
Saw someone wearing a Ray Oyler jersey! Not a common sight for sure.

Good for you! I hope you were sober enough to truly appreciate the ultimate proceedings. Or were you the guy yelling epithets that reverberated through the near empty stadium?

I was near a group doing some heckling but I saved my beer consumption for before and after the game. Stadium prices are insane! In my life, I think I've left a sporting event early three times in my life. You never know what you'll miss.
We were most conversing with some diehard, knowledgeable baseball fans around us, while going nuts when Greene tied it up then Keith walked it off.

The rando jerseys you see at Tigers and Red Wings are amazing. We were at the Wednesday night Tigers game and I saw a guy in a Marcus Thames 33 jersey and another in a Hank Aguirre 37 jersey (it had the NOB even though that wasn't the style when he played for the Tigers, but still...). Frequently see Fidrych 20 and Colavito 7 shirts too, although the McGonigle 7 is rapidly picking up steam.

FOX2 in Detroit is back to baseball.
Just curious if anyone else saw the beginning of that game on FOX2 and heard the audio.
It was a mix of a SAP Spanish and the main track, but the SAP was noticeably louder. It went away during commercials (probably didn't have a SAP track on those?) and returned after the break. It started sometime pre-game and and continued well into the first inning, but sure how long it lasted after that.
I noticed that tonight's game is on Apple TV (along with 2 games in May). I don't currently subscribe as I didn't find enough on there that interested me to justify paying the $12/month fee. Nor could I justify paying $24 over two months just to watch the three upcoming games. However, I did notice that Peacock has a bundle deal to add Apple for $3 more a month. Since I do subscribe to that, that makes it a little more reasonable. Just thought I'd throw that out there to anyone else who might already subscribe to Peacock. Apple does offer a 7 day trial that will at least get you tonight's game.

I turned to FOX2 from DSN well after the start of the game, sorry.
Infielder Hao-Yu Lee has been called up to replace an injured Zach McKinstry who was placed on the 10-day IL. It looks as if he'll be thrust into an immediate starting role against lefty pitching.

Watched the hit / clear cut interference on ZMac live in person Wednesday at CoPa. He damn near was clothes lined and the video on the scoreboard made it even more clear than the naked eye. Thought it was a really dirty play and I’m glad the runner was called out for that BS, ending the inning and their rally. They kept saying that he was really sore and hurting so the trip to the IL doesn’t surprise me
