If you’re trying to prove they murdered her the Post article you linked to is moving heaven and earth to call you an idiot. Both go of their way to be skeptical of the Mayor, Walz and her family. Lots of things in quotes etc.

All that being said there was an ICE agent she pretty clearly floored it at. He got out of the way obviously. Probably did it as a fear response while they surrounded her. She’s gonna get very little sympathy from a lot of people with that video. Should he have immediately shot her? Probably not but the moment you vaguely threaten any kind of officer… even the damn postal police… you can expect to get shot.

But the DHS response has been absolutely laughable. Their rhetoric has been over the top and cartoonish. They claim she ran over the guy who shot her… uh NO.

To be super duper clear… I am not defending anything but I can see where she made her mistake.

He was NOT justified in doing that but it sure looks like he was in the path of the vehicle.

If she turned around and made a run directly at them THEN they would have been justified in opening fire in self defense. But intending to hit the guy is real fuzzy here just based on the one pass.

I just see this as really grey… the different angles show either side to have some sort of argument they could make. The guy standing in front of her when she starts to move in a hurry doesn’t help her case… the fact that she was obviously fleeing, he got out of the way and shot at point blank range doesn’t help his case. It’s a shitshow.

I also really want to know why the fuck anyone in their right mind would go down there and be within a country mile of those thugs. It’s obvious they won’t hesitate to mow you down given a chance.

They were trying to open her door and she floored it pretty hard to get the fuck outta there for sure. She wasn’t really blocked in with her only choice being to go through them. What we really don’t have is how or why she found herself in that position in the first place. It kinda sounds like her wife may have convinced her to go down there to see what ICE was up to or to protest. But how does she end up in her car surrounded by ICE agents? She wasn’t simply driving by I don’t think. They could have easily parked somewhere and walked on over. We are missing a large piece of context here.

I also see somebody trying to get the fuck outta there… I’ve said that 4 or 5 times in an hour dude. We see the same thing. I also see how DHS has tried to excuse this as self defense. We don’t have her on video hitting any agents with the car like they claim. We do have one angle where an ICE agent does indeed have to move to avoid that outcome as he stood directly in the path of the car. He’s the one who fired in “self defense.” There is enough of a grey area there that they can grasp onto it. 40% of the country at a minimum has believing this scenario on auto ship.
