I genuinely do not understand how 4 puts somebody like this on TV. Talk about annoying voice and look. The Channel gets changed everytime he is on. I find his weather reports to borderline alarmist. Constantly over predicting and warning people of things that are a minor or no threat at all. He must even annoy a few people at 4 he was on the morning show the other day and Colthorp let him have it over giving away the next story. His sign off is also annoying and he is the only weather person that says it every single time “I’m 4 warn meteorologist” ok we get it dude your reporting a story outside not doing the actual weather.

The worst one they have is Ron Hilliard. I have no idea how anyone watched demo footage of him and exclaimed “where have you been all our lives with this incredible presentation?!!?”.

The same goes for Darnell Blackburn having any business in the same zip code as that TV station doing traffic or “safety reports” or anything else. The guy cannot speak clearly.

Overall 4’s weather team is subpar.

I miss the days of Andrew Humphrey and Paul Gross. I have noticed that Kim and Ashlee are seem to be gone more than the weather folks at 2, 7 and 62.

62’s Ahmad Bajjey and Troy Bridges are really sharp, IMO.

I agree that WDIV's weather team, as a whole, really isn't great anymore. I'm just not getting as much good info from them. There is no replacing Paul Gross. He was a professional and really knew what he was doing. I was never a H*** fan of Andrew Humphrey at the time, but I'd love to have him back now in comparison. I think Ron Hilliard is all looks, too. I'm not a big fan of Kim Adams, and seriously, I would rather have Ashlee as chief meteorologist instead. I like Ashlee, I think she does a good job with presentation. Move her from the morning to the evening.

I think Ashlee and Kim both do a good job. Brett Collar should be used on-air more often as well.

Don't miss Andrew at all. Definitely don't miss Brandon.
