Earlier this month, Barclay lost his drive time morning talk gig on 910AM in Detroit, but maintains his 9-10am WOOD-AM/FM slot in Grand Rapids (plus his "after show" via his website).
So what might be next?

At this point, based on the response - It appears that nobody seems to care.

910 WFDF is a Detroit area station, so it's posted in the Detroit section.

I am sure Justin is bummed about losing a slot... but at the end of the day radio is a dying.

Justin seems to be doing well with a his podcasting, and filling in for national people like Beck.

He is a nice guy, and his content is aligned with popular opinion, I bet you he continues to grow doing podcasting and independent media.

Good riddance corporate media.

He works for the biggest radio media group in the world friendo, he's corporate media to the core. That's why his positions shift with the wind, there's no backbone as a shill.

Is he able to support himself doing his online stuff?

Not sure of any additional outlets he may have. He was one of the casualties of the recent iheart downsizing and lost his air time on WOOD-AM/FM.

Hosting 1 hour a day on a station in market #68 obviously wasn't his primary source of income. That should be obvious to everyone.

Barclay was filling in for Glenn Beck last week even after the sacking.

Barclay apparently now is a regular, weekly guest on the
West Michigan Morning News show of WOOD-AM/FM, the station where he formerly had his own program. He discusses the state of Michigan political scene. Is this a "pay for play" arrangement? Or is he simply another political expert/reporter who is invited to offer his perspective/comments.

If by political expert/reporter you mean a shill/hack then you'd be dead on. How anyone in 2026 can take in this garbage is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and get outside, get off social media and open your eyes and pay attention. I can't imagine he's being paid anything for this and rightfully so.
