I've only seen her a couple times in some short clips on WDIV and I think she looks amazing. Didn't see anything wrong with the reporting either, but they were short clips.

You mean channel 2? Budget cuts or low ratings. Otherwise he’ll sadly be around for years. I’ve never understood the appeal of him, TV or radio.

Giggling Priya Mann was unbearable on Loco 4 in the 6a hour this morning. I had to flip to a different station.

Saw her for the first time on the 5pm today… she doesn’t fit at all. Sort of like when 7 hired Andrea Isom… It’s like the signals from 2 and 4 got crossed and they aired the wrong channel. It just makes it a little more obvious why 2 just isn’t very good… their style such as it is beams in from Youngstown, Ohio or something and she simply brought that style to 4 and started using it. Nice to look at though. Maybe she will adjust into it.

4 Really is in serious and rapid decline. Not just this but the mistakes and missteps in set design and buyouts and lower quality talent… the list is kinda getting long. Their PR is spinning them as the most local station except their talent is all from some place else rather than being native folks. If that were the measure 7 is the most local.

Channel 7 has new on the street reporters every month. I just saw someone this morning that i had never seen before and I watch Channel 7 news every day.

That’s the one drawback they have… it’s a revolving door. My point was excepting a couple reporters they are all connected to Detroit in some tangible way not involving their job.

I absolutely detest how channel 4 presents the weather now.

The massive video wall is often filmed at a weird angle, making the maps hard to see. The light silver on light blue often looks washed out, too, on the weather graphics. Major "blooming" issues (flat panel TV term).

I'd love to give a piece of my mind to the moron(s) who came up with the idea.
