Interesting…so beginning August 30th Emily Wahls will take over mornings (confirmed by Darrin Rockcole), Justin Bradford will apparently be splitting weekends with Rockcole, and Andy Pro remain in the evenings. Darrin on his Facebook page says he will be doing some weekend slots and will be involved with “newscasts you don’t even know about yet.”

IMO -WILX should have kept Caleb Meute instead of bringing back DR ...... Caleb was good with his delivery and has many years ahead of him.

In hindsight they could have. With the upcoming (August 30) return of Emily Wahls Caleb was told his position was being reduced from full-time. He quit and Darrin came back as a summer fill-in…however, the position will now be returned to full-time as the station has decided to add an unannounced newscast.

Emily is out of the picture ?! What happened, and why now after her 1yr. No Compete has run out ? Did Darrin threaten to sue ? Something seems sketchy …..

With Emily gone to Chicago, WILX has promoted Darrin Rockcole and hired a 4th meteorologist. While there has been no announcement, Blake Hansen is my guess. He left 7 & 4 today saying he wouldn’t be moving very far away. His twitter posts are being liked by Justin Bradford.
