Went by an intersection yesterday with three gas stations. One was 4.99/gal, one was 4.39/gal and one was 4.29/gal. There were just as many cars at the 4.99/gal station filling up.

If you can't be bothered to cross the street to save $0.60 or $0.50 on each and every gallon, then folks really aren't that concerned.

Do you realize how many owner operators there are now? It’s a lot. And yes, some companies make their truckers pay some of it too.

It’s 11% according to FMCSA… that’s… not a lot. Most are therefore employees directly and are given a fuel card or company credit card to use for expenses. That cost is passed on through increases in shipping costs for the goods we need.
