I hope soon… he literally said the media is part of a plot. Not even a fig leaf on the conspiracy theory for god sakes.
Donald Trump… In your guts you know he’s nuts.

Are impeachment and/or 25th amendment proceedings expected today?

Re: Trump Thursday night speech
Still whining about being stuck with Trump? You know you could have simply picked somebody better than Kamala Harris in 2024, right?
I seem to recall Matt was a "Pro Harris/Walz" account. Well, promote a couple of losers and this is what you get.
Speaking of which, I see Kamala has a sizable primary lead. I know that number is pretty meaningless this far out, but go ahead. Pick her again. Our next President will be either Vance or Rubio.

Did you embrace Trump's message? Lately you seem to avoid offering your opinion on the old fat loser.bmw wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2026 12:02 pm Still whining about being stuck with Trump? You know you could have simply picked somebody better than Kamala Harris in 2024, right?

"Why didn't you democrats stop us from destroying the country? Geez, it was so simple. It's your own fault."
Re: Trump Thursday night speech
I didn't watch the speech. For the past 4-5 months I have not paid much attention to politics as I've been busy. I don't know what his message was other than I saw it was supposed to have to do with voting integrity. My opinion on that topic - and it has been the same opinion I've expressed for years in here - is that I've heard enough complaining about alleged vote rigging. Conceptually the only thing I do take issue with is I think it is too easy to vote by mail and I think that aspect of voting should return to the way it was a few decades ago where you had to have an actual legitimate reason to vote by mail. That one issue aside, I am and have been tired of hearing about vote rigging.
(my response in here was to the repeated "I hope he dies of eating too many Big Macs" I see constantly in here. It reeks of whining).

Re: Trump Thursday night speech
He went on and on about 5 tranches of “classified documents” “proving” China conspired with Democrats and the Media to rig the 2020 elections beginning in 2018. Claimed journalists were paid by foreign actors to attack him etc.bmw wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2026 1:27 pm I didn't watch the speech. I didn’t know someone could whine so hard while also winning the maximum number of terms allowed for the highest office in the land under the constitution.

Re: Trump Thursday night speech
OK this is what I don't understand that I'm truly interested to get clarification on. What exactly is it about "ease" of voting are you uncomfortable with? Are you in favor of making voting more difficult? Or did you misspeak, meaning you're more concerned about ease of ballot interception or fraud through the mail, rather than ease of actually voting?
Re: Trump Thursday night speech
Yes, to be blunt, I am in favor of making it more difficult to vote. There should be at least a minimum amount of effort that goes into voting. And in that vein, I also think straight-ticket voting should be done away with.ZenithCKLW wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2026 3:46 pmOK this is what I don't understand that I'm truly interested to get clarification on.
