Very happy that The Gordie Howe Bridge finally opens it was going to open no matter what. I was always surprised US & Canada didn't have a bridge until this year and that the bridge was always private which I never understood. I was tired of that family ads for 2 years non-stop saying no to the bridge which I said Oh, HELL NO To Them in 2012 ballot.

The GH is the ugliest bridge I have ever seen.

Those with fear of travelling over bridges, especially do not like it.

I think GH was mostly a waste of taxpayer money. Plus, Government should not be in business.

I say mostly because unless there is a sudden surge in cross-border traffic, traffic has not been growing. I haven't gone to Canada since before Covid, like many others.
