Not sure if anyone still watches Fox 17 News since they switched to their anchorless community news format but meteorologist Reece Cole announced today that he is departing the station with this Thursday (Dec 11) being his last day. He will still do forecasting but this time for the markets with financial planning.
With Kevin Craig on a leave of absence until sometime next year, this will leave Kara James and Terri DeBoer as the station's only active meteorologists.

....saw a Facebook post suggesting that Fox17 management was "working him to death," logging so much airtime filling in for others. Also guessed that was a factor in Reece's departure.
Not sure there, but should Terri DeBoer go full time until things settle down? That's not what she signed up for either......

Gawd, I hope Terri "Ford Freeway" DeBoer doesn't go full time! I'd rather have Michael Fish on every newscast!

ALSO Breaking news...FOX 17 is getting a new news director. Wont say who in case it isnt completely public knowledge, but someone sort of familiar with the area...but not anyone who has worked in GR before...

All the best Reece seen him doing some weeknight newscasts haven't seen him a lot, only Kara & Terri largely Sun nights I see on FOX17.
