It’s not stupid when you don’t have power. You are going against Yammamoto who obviously is mentally strong. He wouldn’t make a mistake. He won this series for them. He should be MVP.

As for the bunt question, I think a double play in that situation would've been unlikely. The base runner was already in scoring position. The goal should've been to hit a single. Losing that out wound up biting the Jays in the ass. I realize my opinion goes against long held baseball orthodoxy.

The Dodgers made incredible defensive plays that were game savers back to back nights. That catch at the wall by Pages was amazing.

I am surprised they left Yamamoto in so long when he wasn’t his sharpest. It shows you how much they trust him, and how shaky the Dodgers pen is.

I get why they bunted. Having a slow runner in Kirk is why the double play was so easy.

All I'll say is what a great year for both the NBA and MLB. Two sports I normally don't care about but had very entertaining playoffs/finals.
