World Series 2025

Post by moldyoldie »

I'll always root for the AL (but fudge a bit if it's the Yank-mes!). The streakiness of Jays hitting has me wondering which Jays team we'll be seeing.

Rooting for the Jays because I hate the Dodgers. I won't pull for a team just because of the league or conference they're in, and that goes for any sport.

Do you add anything of value to this board? It doesn't appear so.

Say what you want about Ron Cameron, but the man was a legend in Detroit sports talk radio. :smokin

Toronto 11-2, Bottom of the 6th.

Addison Barger hit the first pitch hit grand slam in world series history.

The Blue Jays had a 9 run inning.

That sixth inning was one for the books! Take THAT Dodgers! :lol

Hard to believe Yesavage started the season in A ball, the second youngest pitcher to ever start a World Series opener.

Jays had runners at first and third with nobody out in the first and couldn't score. :rolleyes They did manage a run in the third. I think they're getting a measure on Yamamoto's stuff and will do their usual explosion somewhere in the middle innings.

(Edit)
...or maybe not. :?
What the hell's with the Jonas Brothers? :rolleyes This must be Canada's Super Bowl with a halftime show. :razz

Considering the Dodgers bullpen, I’d stick with Yamamoto for the 8th and the 9th if he’s not scored on.
