Cancel culture unto itself is a form of freedom of speech, by the way, when the parties doing the "cancelling" are private citizens or companies.
So, lawbreakers who happen to be elected officials who espouse rhetoric and adopt policies you like should be given a free pass?Arresting and harrassment of political opponents...
I'll be the first to say there is unequal treatment under the law. That's been the case in this country for centuries.
Last time I checked, the U.S. dollar is significantly stronger than the CDN dollar and fuel per gallon (or litre, if you prefer) is much cheaper here, too, even though energy prices are trending in the wrong direction. There's certainly room for improvement with regard to the U.S. economy, but compared to the vast majority of countries around the world, I'd say our standard of living is pretty darn good.
