I'd be happy if it was tomatoes, no need to exaggerate. But spot on with the base.
You're never too old to learn something stupid.
Re: Trump Claims He Will Be Indicted Tuesday
Got to love these idiot fucks who want to defend Trump because he's such an honorable American. He's shit on democracy and called for the termination of the Constitution, but they honestly believe he belongs in the White House. How fucking stupid can you be?
The censorship king from out of state.
Re: Trump Claims He Will Be Indicted Tuesday
I didn't say that he "belongs" in the WH, nor did I say he was an "honorable American."
What I DID say is the following:
-This is a politically motivated prosecution
-This will only further divide the country
-The alleged crime is rather petty
-This move will only embolden Trump and increase his chances of taking back the WH.

MTG heard about Trump's predicament and said she would have volunteered for an in-dick-ment in his place.
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/ ... 066130007/Former Republican Rep. Peter Meijer of Grand Rapids Township, who was one of 10 House Republicans and the only freshman member to vote to impeach Trump after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, and who lost a primary in 2022 to Trump-endorsed candidate John Gibbs, also condemned the indictment.
"We are crossing a dangerous Rubicon for our democracy because a soft-on-crime DA needed to fulfill a campaign pledge to go after Trump, even on such a pathetic set of charges," Meijer told The News. "This is a moment we will look back on as uniquely corrosive and destructive for our Republic."

To respond, everything in politics IS politically motivated and of course this is as well naturally. Now someone once said and who was it... * snaps fingers* Rham Emmanuel once said " Never let a good crisis go to waste". Sadly that's what its totally become on all sides.bmw wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 9:14 pmI didn't say that he "belongs" in the WH, nor did I say he was an "honorable American."

The country is already divided, and this certainly doesn't help but.. clearly something is not quite right here. This crime with Stormy Daniels is one of the pettier ones but what is below the many surfaces?
I've said this to many people, do not write Trump off again. Anything can happen. For likely worse but people are VERY fickle overall and if the economy is bad in fall of 2024, some may overlook past transgressions and give him a 2nd go at it.

That's the most ridiculous hyperbolic vitriol I've ever seen.

I guess you never know. Peter is one of the few people I would have thought turning into a garden variety political hack yet here we are. Really takes the polish from all the admirable things he's done in his life.Matt wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 10:06 pmhttps://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/ ... 066130007/Former Republican Rep. The hush money was a story during that campaign… it would absolutely have gone somewhere… Stormy Daniels would still have pursued something. Had Trump lost 16 he would have been back in 20 and again in 24. Who the hell are you kidding? Once that blood was in the water SOMEBODY would have picked it up. It took a couple tries but here we are. Maybe he should have not tried to buy off someone using campaign money and not had an affair with a porn star… sounds like it’s his fault…
Re: Trump Claims He Will Be Indicted Tuesday
If it’s 30 counts then there is an awful lot more here than just a hush money payment to a Porn Star. Somebody finally pulled on one of the cards in his house. Down she goes.bmw wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 10:47 pmCNN is reporting that Trump faces THIRTY counts.

Grand Jury's don't get involved in politics, they do get involved with facts... He wasn't the first politician who broke the law, he was the dumbest by leaving tons of evidence.bmw wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 10:47 pmCNN is reporting that Trump faces THIRTY counts.

Maybe having sex with a porn star then lying about it was a bad idea, just like the others waiting in the wings

There are other less exciting things that could lead to bigger problems than he has in NYC.

Re: Trump Claims He Will Be Indicted Tuesday
I wouldn't consider that the number of counts as any real measure of the severity of Trump's alleged crimes. What he should be worried about is the investigative granularity of the charges. Do they have the receipts? My opinion is you don't get a gig in the NYDA office by being a fuckup. These are highly accomplished professional that any Manhattan law firm would welcome in the snap of a finger. I'm very confident they understand the gravity of the case and how the integrity of their evidence they present needs to be faultless in order to take this to a jury. Metaphorically airtight. As he old adage says, the wheels of justice may grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine. They are not innocent in the way Trump taints the legal system, that's already baked in the cake and I doubt that's been neglected. They know they have one opportunity to take down a king.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 11:47 pmIf it’s 30 counts then there is an awful lot more here than just a hush money payment to a Porn Star. The thing that keeps me awake at night is a real possibility that just one Cletus could tank the entire case should it go to a jury. One retired cop in Staten Island who is still pissed off he and his buddies can no longer beat a suspect senseless with impunity, one Karen who feels her privilege has been questioned can blow up the effort for reasons. Maybe we should have listened to Trump when he said he could shoot someone on 5th and never be held accountable. All it takes is one juror acting in bad faith.
There were hundreds if not thousands of people willing to commit treason and stage what amounted to an attempted coup because Trump convinced them that it was their patriotic duty to circumvent an election that he did not win. That's where your politically motivated miscarriage of justice resides.
That's what scares the living shit out of me.
