In Ron's biased mindset he will somehow put this terrible ranking all on Scott Harris. He will be oblivious to the past with Al Avila and will put all ownership of the organizations past screw ups on Scott Harris since he is the man in charge. Avila was a good man, gave Ron the respect of a member of the media and that's all the matters and is the reason to put him up on Ron's pedestal. Jake Rogers the number one catcher in Ron's book ? Rogers hitting ability has been putrid and he has struggled at times behind the plate. However because Ron has had a couple of respectable interactions with Jake in the past, Ron is the president of Jakes fan club.Momo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 4:07 pmIn a fitting coda to the Avila era, Keith Law, in The Athletic, ranks the Tigers dead last, #30, in his ranking of the major-league teams’ farm systems:
"The new regime in Detroit faces a big challenge here, as very little has gone right for the Tigers’ farm system in recent years. From the 2016 through 2021 drafts, their top three picks by WAR to date are Tarik Skubal, Casey Mize … and John Schreiber, signed for $6,000 in the 15th round. Their international free-agent classes have been totally unproductive. And we haven’t seen many players get better once in the system over the last decade, whether they come in as reasonably polished players or not. Matt Manning might be the one big exception to that, as the Tigers did help him with his delivery when he had trouble throwing strikes, but he’s the outlier. There is still a decent bit of underdeveloped talent just lying around here, with the new player development group only in place for about a year, and there will be a lot of high draft picks to come. It’s lean times ahead in Detroit, unfortunately."
Try to spin this, Ron.

Re: Ron Cameron
I think it's less a function of having some positive interaction with Jake than it is that he's all that's left on the return of the disastrous, Avila-engineered, Verlander trade. Ron is nothing but loyal to those like Avila who grease his palm by being a guest on his show.Mr.Transistor wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 1:01 pmIn Ron's biased mindset he will somehow put this terrible ranking all on Scott Harris. Re: Ron Cameron
Ron needs to teach CNN's Kaitlan Collins a lesson or two about not "coming in" on the star:

Re: Ron Cameron
How Ron's show is broadcast to a worldwide audience:
Re: Ron Cameron
Have Ron’s people informed him, yet, that this is not Super Bowl weekend?
Re: Ron Cameron
Again with the Bertuzzi won't get "tested" talk. The confused Ron needs to consult with his friend, the county health director.
Re: Ron Cameron
Bertuzzi just will not get tested.
Re: Ron Cameron
How long has Bertuzzi's wife been gestating that baby?
Re: Ron Cameron
Rod Allen as a future guest?! Ron's just throwing out names now.
Re: Ron Cameron
I thought the same thing. At least since September 2021:

Bobbert, surely you must know your neighbor, "Joe from Plymouth." If so, please ask him to stop asking such anodyne questions.
Re: Ron Cameron
No acknowledgenment that the Super Bowl's not tomorrow.
