"Although no one knows the future, I think I will be coaching Michigan next year," Harbaugh told the Queen City News today.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The arrival of the Michigan football offseason has brought with it renewed speculation that Jim Harbaugh might depart the program for the NFL.
Those are rumors that new U-M President Santa Ono is well aware of. Speaking to The Michigan Insider ahead of Wednesday night’s men’s basketball game, Ono said he will ultimately be involved in any negotiations to keep Harbaugh in Ann Arbor — though Athletic Director Warde Manuel is the individual most responsible in those conversations.
While Ono deferred any specifics to Manuel, he gave the following comment about Harbaugh to The Michigan Insider:
“He’s a great coach. I hope we can keep him.”
Ono has been an outspoken supporter of Michigan Athletics, and he has endorsed the role of athletics since his introductory press conference in July.

Maybe the Lions can fire their coach and hire him. He wouldn’t even have to move.Matt wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 8:28 pmhttps://247sports.com/college/michigan/ ... 202141227/

“As I stated in December, while no one knows what the future holds, I expect that I will be enthusiastically coaching Michigan in 2023. I have spoken with President (Santa) Ono and Athletic Director Warde Manuel and appreciate their support of me and our program. Our mission as Wolverines continues, and we are preparing for the 2023 season with great passion and enthusiasm. As our legendary coach Bo Schembechler said, 'Those Who Stay Will be Champions.'"

Quite a non-answer on both the NFL coaching and The House Speaker jobs.Matt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 4:45 pmhttps://twitter.com/UMichFootball/statu ... mX5tssAAAA

Also, as legendary coach Bo Schembechler said when he received numerous complaints from his players being sexually assaulted by Dr. Robert Anderson: "Toughen up."Matt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 4:45 pmhttps://twitter.com/UMichFootball/statu ... mX5tssAAAA

He didn't 'fail'. He did not want an NFL job at this time.
Re: Jimmy Harbaugh to the Raiders?
Warde needs to stop pussyfooting around and make Jim the highest paid coach in the B1G.

Re: Jimmy Harbaugh to the Raiders?
Oh, so it IS all about the money. All that bullshit Harbaugh was giving us last year about that NFL dalliance being a one-time thing and he's gonna be a Michigan man for life and "unbridled enthusiasm" and all the other shit was a bunch of crap.
