Christmas songs you want on the radio
As many know, there's already a discussion in progress in the Metro Detroit forum about which yule time tunes play over the airwaves..
I'm going to start this thread here for no particular reason.
What songs would you like to hear?
One person suggested Christmastime by the Smashing Pumpkins. I never heard of the tune. So there you go.
Other than the heavily rotated, what Christmas songs do you enjoy?

2000 Miles by the Pretenders doesn't come on anymore on stations I've listened to.
And Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses

Tune into them on Christmas day this year. You'll be spoiled and never listen to those stations with overplayed traditional ever again

WMTR in Archbold, (far northwest) OH also plays a pretty eclectic Christmas playlist for the week or so they go all-Christmas every year. Way better than hearing Mariah and McCartney 80000 times each.
I like Fairytale of New York but it contains a problematic word, guess they could always bleep it

Re: Christmas songs you want on the radio
I've got some...
AC/DC - Mistress for Christmas
Tom Petty - Christmas All Over Again
The Ramones - Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)
The Killers - Don't Shoot Me Santa
Emerson, Lake and Palmer - I Believe in Father Christmas (U2's cover works too)
Also, when was the last time you heard Cheech and Chong's "Santa Claus and His Old Lady" on the radio? Used to get a chuckle out of that one. I know it isn't a song, but still...
Some of these suggestions are damn good.

I don't have a religious bone in my body. I'm a non-believer. But I always enjoy the carols, the sacred music of Christmas.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.
