Re: Coverage of Jan. 6 Hearings
Matt, you should really go back and reread my previous posts. Believe what you want. Not sure why you have a hard time believing that there is more than one person who actually thinks Fox 66 is a crappy station.Matt wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 10:43 pmStill bitter because they finally fired you, stink?Under New Management wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 9:35 pmOther than Byron Allen, does anyone watch The Weather Channel anymore?
Can’t believe anyone in a TV forum actually wants to defend Fox 66’s actions. They make LOTS of bad decisions. Stop trying to defend Fox 66. It makes you look foolish.
Plus, the bad quality and poor news judgment is kind of their thing. The station is a joke to the other stations. It’s a joke for many of the people who work there as well — understandable since they don’t even have minimal staffing to put on even a small market quality level newscast.

You're kinda going from mere bias to hatred territory now... such passion.Under New Management wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 9:35 pmOther than Byron Allen, does anyone watch The Weather Channel anymore?
My post was more a generalization of what a station chooses to do in a market, not a defense of your particular seethingly-hated station not airing The World's Most Import Thing According To You v2.0.Under New Management wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 9:35 pmCan’t believe anyone in a TV forum actually wants to defend Fox 66’s actions. Hard to see? Take off the blinders... until you do that, please don't be you and drive.

I’m an equal opportunity a-hole. I’ve criticized all three stations. WNEM’s just been the best of the bunch recently
Re: Coverage of Jan. 6 Hearings
WNEM 5 is # 1 followed by WJRT ABC 12 a close second at # 2 & way way down at the bottom of the barrel, WEYI NBC 25 at # 3!!!!

The gap between #1 and #2 is widening. ABC12 is a shell of its former self ever since Allen Media bought it, and Denise is driving out good people in front and behind the camera

Re: Coverage of Jan. 6 Hearings
Wnem doesn't see 12 as competition. Denise lies and tells everyone they're catching up in ratings. Wake up, it's been almost 3 years. Dawn, Terry and Angie are the only reason that place hasn't completely folded in on itself.

Byron Allen's attempted shakedown of McDonalds and GM was disgusting. They reason neither advertises on his obscure cable networks is because viewership is abysmally low. He tried playing the race card, which is a slap in the face to any African American who is a legitimate victim of racism.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

I just read this entire miserable thread, and I'd say they are both a-holes. Jesus.Constant Listener wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 10:35 pmPot, meet kettle

Completely agree. Advertisers go where the ratings are. Byron continues to run his stations on the cheap, then complains when advertising revenue goes down. As they say, you’ve got to spend money to make money. Smart investment in WJRT’s on air product snd people could reverse the damage done by the failed ownership of Lily.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 7:53 pmByron Allen's attempted shakedown of McDonalds and GM was disgusting. He sued Comcast for the same thing for refusing to carry his same obscure channels. Maybe if his channels were slightly better quality and had more viewers, he might have a leg to stand on.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 7:53 pmByron Allen's attempted shakedown of McDonalds and GM was disgusting.
