As to audio, I give a damn about people dying which is more than you can say.
Who has been advocating wearing N95+ masks since March?

Fauci - Nope!

Whitmer - Nope!

Biden - Nope!

Yes, that's right, I did. I care about people, and because I care about using something that ACTUALLY works!
Yet, you fail to support lock downs which have saved tens of thousands of lives in their own right.
Lockdowns are bullshit and against what this country was founded on. Maybe it is time to start locking up the un-American governors that are illegally locking us down.
This country was founded on every man for himself and fuck you if you die it’s not my problem? I must have missed that memo.

Maybe it’s the 1/2 amendment, you know the one before the 1st? “All citizens are henceforth bestowed and encouraged to be selfish pricks only concerned with themselves. Celebrate this god given right and refer to amendment 2 if anybody tries to stop you”. God I should have paid better attention in government class.
Is "no taxation without representation" not clear enough for you? Do you think the founding fathers would have been happy with a self-appointed monarch canceling representation unilaterally?

Did the founding fathers even have a concept of what a virus was? Didn’t think so.

Most of the Framers died of dysentery, so forgive me if I don't care about how they would handle a worldwide pandemic.

There were 1,358 cases on Saturday. Let's see where we are in 3-4 weeks with restaurants reopening. I am bookmarking this thread.

Side note: There were 9800 cases a couple days before Thanksgiving, then we had the shut down of restaurants.

Another side note: Many more school districts are opening their secondary schools and sports are restarting.

It's false science to claim any one factor results in higher / lower case totals. It's just not that simple.

How so? It's obvious to anyone without partisan blinders that Gretchen is doing a damn good job. You go from 9800 cases a day to 1300, and that's chopped liver. Instead of "thank you for saving lives", we get grumbling from the right. That's embarrassing.

Rock and Rye, how do you explain that nearly every other state had their cases go up over the holidays except Michigan? C'mon man.

No, its not. Its also Whitmer, not "Gretchen."

Hey Matt, doesn't Ann Arbor have a stay at home order due to the outbreak of the new variant? Why aren't you criticizing that too?

Michigan also has a work at home mandate, much tighter restrictions on gyms, and on and on.

I don't disagree that closing down in-person dining helps. It's just that we don't know how much it helps because there are so many other variables in play too.

It's irresponsible to point the finger at just one thing and make that the reason for success and/or failure.

Think back to your middle school chemistry class and those experiments you ran.

Edit: By the way, I fully support the 10 PM curfew on restaurants and bars. I have no proof, but highly suspect that folks standing and mingling in bars, especially when their inhibitions have been lowered by a cocktail or three, would be a much larger contributing factor to the spread vs. sit down diners.

There are zero stay at home orders in Michigan right now. Residents of Ann Arbor can go out to eat tonight, if they so desire. Restaurants all across Washtenaw County, including Ann Arbor, are open for diners today.

There are (strong) recommendations concerning the student bodies at U-M and MSU to limit social interaction. They are still allowed out for school, food, etc etc etc. If the students opt to ignore those recommendations, there is no legal penalty.

I already answered this as NO, as Mr. Faygo also has shared with you.
