https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/20/us/t ... china.htmlThe Chinese account is controlled by Trump International Hotels Management L.L.C., which the tax records show paid $188,561 in taxes in China while pursuing licensing deals there from 2013 to 2015.
The tax records do not include details on how much money may have passed through the overseas accounts, though the Internal Revenue Service does require filers to report the portion of their income derived from other countries. The British and Irish accounts are held by companies that operate Mr. Trump’s golf courses in Scotland and Ireland, which regularly report millions of dollars in revenue from those countries. Trump International Hotels Management reported just a few thousand dollars from China.

It figures. If BIDEN/CHINA are allowed to take over, you can see how high taxes will be. CHINA level taxes. The Proletariat gets nothing.

Re: Trump paid more tax in China than the US
Then why would we have them at all? So the founding fathers who established the country with a system of taxes weren’t patriotic? The issue wasn’t having no taxes or not paying them or trying not to pay them. It was not having a voice while you’re taxed. Paying ones taxes and doing their part to help their country is the definition of patriotism.

How many of the founding (whatever they identified as) were still alive in 1913 when the congress decided to tax productivity?Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 2:30 pmThen why would we have them at all? Re: Trump paid more tax in China than the US
That’s not the point. A progressive income tax is a fairer way to collect revenue than any other method. This includes a flat tax. The poor disproportionately are hurt by such a scheme.Matt wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 2:34 pmHow many of the founding (whatever they identified as) were still alive in 1913 when the congress decided to tax productivity?Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 2:30 pmThen why would we have them at all? See the founding fathers were all slave owners and thought slavery was just peachy. They also arrested homosexuals and women couldn't vote.
You want things to go back to that? Maybe it's time to delete your piss and moan thread and admit your bigotry.

You pivoted us to the 1913 progressive income tax not me. I didn’t bring that up. It’s also not like that is the invention of taxes. They existed before that. You lose sir. You get nothing.Matt wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 3:02 pmYou brought up the founding (maybe) fathers and then pivoted rather quickly.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 2:36 pmThat’s not the point. Income taxes are what this thread is referencing. Trump allegedly hasn't paid much in the form of income taxes in awhile. He's paid plenty of property taxes/employment taxes/etc.Rate This wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 1:15 amYou pivoted us to the 1913 progressive income tax not me. I didn’t bring that up.
