Re: 2020 Presidential Polls
Worth noting: If the ECU poll was local or regional in nature, understand that's a very conservative area of North Carolina. Much to my consternation my niece will be wrapping up her Sophomore year and starting her Junior year there this fall. Kids.

I'm anxious to see how the Russia hoax will impact the polls with his base of conservative voters.

Re: 2020 Presidential Polls
He could do something clearly and seriously wrong to their mother or some other female relative and they’d excuse it. He could turn out to be a serial axe murderer and they’d probably still stick with him. I no longer have any faith that he could take any course of action that would shake their desire to blindly play follow the leader.

** This one for the moment is a massive outlier, since it also had McSally up by 4 in the Senate race I suspect they got a bad sample mix here. Or they just made up numbers.... OANN isn’t exactly a golden source for much of anything...

What do you think of what Carville says here? Or do you just think he's a gasbag that still loves getting interviewed about politics?Rate This wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 10:06 pmHe takes the ass beating:Mr.Transistor wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 4:26 pmWalls are closing in, Does he throw in the towel or take the ass beating?

If it becomes clear there’s not a snowballs chance in hell then I can see it being possible but unlikely. He would avoid being a loser though...

Re: 2020 Presidential Polls
Yep I guess time will tell. He's probably hoping when Biden emerges from the basement more regularly that perhaps he'll make some unforgettable gaffes while he speaks. That's about the only way. Trump has been doing that almost daily with twitter and other things, I think most people have become numb to it or turn a blind eye to it.

David Brooks NY TimesAt least Americans are not in denial about the nation’s turmoil of the last three months. According to a Pew survey, 71 percent of Americans are angry about the state of the country right now and 66 percent are fearful. Only 17 percent are proud.

Very relevant statement. The important question is what are the 66% fearful of?TC Talks wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 11:25 pmDavid Brooks NY TimesAt least Americans are not in denial about the nation’s turmoil of the last three months. Is it the economy? Is it the virus? Is it the civil unrest? Which candidate do they feel can calm those fears?

Nope, won't happen unless a pardon is engineered into the deal.
