So, I've decided to start doing various video projects with my desktop. Some will require voice-over. My pipes aren't what they were 30 years ago, but I work cheap.
This is the Mic I've decided I should buy.

Anyone have comments good, bad or indifferent? Other suggestions I may want ot consider?
Thanks..

USB Microphone
USB Microphone
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
Re: USB Microphone
Blue yeti is certainly a popular one the way they package it. I went with a Rode USB mic because I have a Rode tube mic that is very good and I like the warmer sound it creates vs other USB options. In general I don't like USB mic performance but for the price they're not bad.

Re: USB Microphone
Did you go with the Rode NT or Podcaster? The company I have a account with has the NT for 170.00 which is in the same price range as the Yeti, but doesn't look like it comes with the extras.TC Talks wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 8:44 pmBlue yeti is certainly a popular one the way they package it. Re: USB Microphone
I have the NT, but I got it bundled with a stand and a few extras. I already had the stuff the kit comes with. Check out B&H Photo for a better price.
This is my main Mic paired with a Focusrite Analog to Digital processor.

Re: USB Microphone
I just spotted this, I would consider this instead of the USB NT...Bryce wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 8:04 amThanks!TC Talks wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 7:36 amI have the NT, but I got it bundled with a stand and a few extras. Re: USB Microphone
It's ok for more hobby stuff or an extreme budget Audio Techinca USB are a better choice.Bryce wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 8:41 pmSo, I've decided to start doing various video projects with my desktop. Some will require voice-over. My pipes aren't what they were 30 years ago, but I work cheap.
