Channel 95.5
Channel 95.5
Who will Be The next station to compete directly against Channel 95.5 ? Or is the audience not big enough in Detroit anymore for two Top 40 Stations, And is 96.3 possibly headed in that direction? What do all of you think ?

Re: Channel 95.5
Exactly. There is no room for a second CHR given the current state of the format.
96.3 has already increased rhythm gold spins and eliminated all music prior to 1995 from its playlist.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
Re: Channel 95.5
And that Is actually a good move on 96.3’s part, That’s my opinion.

I have two 21-year-old great-nephews who live here in Windsor, and a 14-year-old great-niece and 15-year-old great-nephew who are New Jerseyans . I've never met my great-niece and younger great-nephew ,but my older great-nephews rarely listen to the radio .

Re: Channel 95.5
I see plenty of generation Z kids literally whining and trying to derail every social media post The Breeze makes, wanting AMP back.
Heck, they even made a petition.
I also saw someone say The Breeze is a "Jazz Station"

And how much profit is forfeited because these kids are whining? My guess is a nominal amount, if any. Switching formats is a business decision, not a decision to make the kids cry and censor their music.

Once on a tweet, some very challenged kid replied to something by 98.7 with gibberish, but I was able to make out part of it. It said "The Breeze socks".
They replied to him with a GIF of socks.
Lmao

Re: Channel 95.5
Seriously, If the Kids aren’t listening to the radio, And the advertisers don’t want to cater to us Seniors Citizens and Radio has no formats for the 55+ crowd, Then what’s the next big format for the radio business ?

I know, That’s the beauty of it, You have two people one paycheck, Any radio station would jump at that. Only one problem, He couldn’t do live appearances, Listeners would be expecting two people.

Re: Channel 95.5
If they gave me a format-they won't ; after all,who wants to listen to a genius-level-brainy black man ? perhaps those who listened with open ears and minds would learn something .
