I liked the early days of Love 105 best, however a more today's based AC format will likely surface but I have read a possible flip to a soft based classic hits could happen too. Love was probably best thing on these signals, ratings wise. There was a big AC hole in the market for sure.

What made The cloud decide to put sports on the 105's I'll never know, I think near the end they only were at a 0.1 share. They sounded worst then The Ticket in Toledo Ohio, that's saying something.

A few weeks ago, I got to thinking that the Classic hip hop format was nearing it's expiration date. The Twin cities doesn't have the audience for that format.

I used to listen online all the time. It seemed to work well for those 3 signals. Good to see it back in some form.

Did anyone by chance catch with the 105.7 call letters were? WWWM, like the old Star 105. Interesting, format and adjacent frequencies.

It's all "soft rock" from the 70's to the 90's. No current or recurrent music. Billy Joel, Air Supply, Carpenters, The Heights, etc.

The 105's should have never nixed Love to start with, Going sports was so stupid. I would love to see this format in Toledo, it would be the perfect market for it. Yeah, WWWM and WLUP are warehoused on the 105's, I think the one is still WGVX. I see they relinquished The WRXP calls awhile back.

I just wish that they were not the only adult contemporary station in the Twin Cities. Currently, the Twin Cities does not have a mainstream AC station. Both ks95 and the cities 97.1 both are hot AC. However, 97.1 is slightly lighter, with ks95 being slightly more upbeat. I would dare to say that ks95, maybe adult CHR, like Q105 (former WWWM-FM).

I actually look at their website, and I noticed it's owned by cumulus media. Another thing that I noticed, is that they have no program director. They just have an assistant program director. That must mean the VP of adult contemporary, in Atlanta, must be doing the PD job. Makes sense, if there's no air talent.

I also wouldn't call it "Soft A/C." It's really a "Soft Classic Hits." So the Twin Cities still does not have an A/C of any form, other than the 2 "Hot A/C" stations. (I think KS95 is actually Adult CHR)

It's like WREW- Mix 94.9, in the Cincinnati area. However, this one's not cumulus, it's Hubbard.
