Re: George Floyd Police Reform Act

Many of those slack-jawed pansies have served in active warzones. Have you? Or do you just like calling people names.

Re: Oh No You Won't...

Did we not remember how much Trump did to make sure everybody knew he sent out the first stimulus check? You guys are like waking up to the fact that politics exist.

Re: March 4th: Q Anon's Last Stand?

Didn't you get the memo? Apparently because Trump didn't get sworn in today, the 4th, the date is a false flag. Time to look at your calendars and save March 20th for the festivities. My only question now is what the fuck am I going to do with 500 lbs. of 'pigs in a blanket' and 75 gal. of grape Ko...

Re: Health director fired? (Robert Gordon MiDHHS out)

If his contract had a pre-existing severance clause, there would be nothing to hide. The Whitmer administration refuses to respond to FOIA requests (unfortunately in Michigan, the executive branch of government is not obligated under law to respond to certain FOIA requests, which is why Michigan al...

George Floyd Police Reform Act

The house passed a bill similar last year but was killed by the Trump patrol. last night's Bill addresses some of the issues I have raised in this forum. Tracking bad cops, accountability and the removal of qualified immunity should make cops give pause when they do things to kill citizens when ther...

Re: Health director fired? (Robert Gordon MiDHHS out)

Back to the point I have tried to make six times on this thread. Wait and see what happens when information actually arrives

The fact that his dad was really sick and has died is pretty significant in understanding what motivated the departure.

Matt,

And you know for sure there's no severance clause in his contract?

I haven't read that anywhere.

I hope the dirt will come out and Robert Gordon shouldn't have taken the hush money and spill the tea to the media and sued the state for his firing as well.
I'm sure he's mourning his father and not too worried about the circus.

Re: Gordon Lightfoot doc on Amazon is great

Pretty good. I didn't realize how much he partied.

He has signed over the royalties to The Wreck to the Great Lakes Maritime Academy here in TC. He's been known to slip into town and lecture to cadets. I had a chance to meet him about 2007.

Re: Health director fired? (Robert Gordon MiDHHS out)

He wasn't running a party store he was running a multi-billion dollar Enterprise. $150,000 exit payment is peanuts. You guys are thinking in terms of hourly employees not executives which all of these individuals are... I've never heard of peep out of any of you about severance packages for coaches ...

Re: Health director fired? (Robert Gordon MiDHHS out)

I disagree. He left on his own, likely urged to leave because his head wasn't in the most important job in the state government this year. I think that people looking for blood are going to be disappointed with the final outcome. You’d defend Whitmer shooting someone on Woodward Avenue wouldn’t you...

May 31 That is when there will be enough vaccine for every adult in the United States. Biden was able to convince Merrck to produce the Johnson & Johnson vaccine knocking two months off the projected complete vaccination goal.
