Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update on October 30. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email. I have responded to all password reset requests received through 6a ET on November 7. You should see an email from the "Admin" email account.
November 9 update: Due to app errors, I have disabled the Tapatalk plug-in. As such, the Buzzboard is currently unavailable in Tapatalk. I am trying to do a clean reinstall, but each reinstall attempt is generating database errors. I am hopeful that the issue will be able to be resolved in the next few days.
Thank you for your patience!

Joe Gagnon The Appliance Doctor
Just wondering if anyone here listens to Joe Gagnon, either live on WJR from 6-8am on Sunday mornings, or via Apple Podcasts? His “Home & Appliance Show” is a strange sort of guilty pleasure/radio comfort food to me, but I never catch it live at 6am on Sunday mornings, but I will catch some of each weeks’ show via podcasts within a day or two of airing. Last couple weeks, there’s been no updated podcasts, not sure if anyone here listens live or otherwise.

Re: Joe Gagnon The Appliance Doctor
It's hilarious in a good way. Couple weeks ago a call started, "yeah, I'm having an issue with my Fridgidaire we bought in 1971..." Joe starts telling him how to fix it. I'm walking into church yapping at my wife, "who the hell fixes a 50 year old fridge?" And he gets those calls regularly!
Re: Joe Gagnon The Appliance Doctor
If the issue is minor Joe recommends fixing because appliances were of better quality in those days.sizzlechest wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 2:22 pm It's hilarious in a good way. You would be surprised how many people throw out a perfectly fine older refrigerator or freezer. They lose power and the little fan by the compressor don't run when the power comes back. Just give the fan a flick with your finger and it takes right off and cools and freezes like a champ.edj wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 4:21 pmIf the issue is minor Joe recommends fixing because appliances were of better quality in those days.sizzlechest wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 2:22 pm It's hilarious in a good way. The "bar fridge" at the Flagg residence is a 1970 GE Combination apartment sized fridge/freezer. Works perfectly. Runs whisper quiet. Stylish avocado green.
I'd like to see an LG, Samsung (or any similar piece of shit) last 53 years.

I'll let that one slide, but only because it was a good burn. Cheers.
Somebody needs to see if 'ol Joe is on this weekend. That's ridiculous that he's on at 6AM. They should bump the snooze fest that's MSU slappy Mark Hollis to 0-dark-thirty, and put Joe on at 9:00.

Re: Joe Gagnon The Appliance Doctor
Hopefully, someone will wake with the sun and see if Joe is on this Sunday morning…not sure if I have it in me!
Re: Joe Gagnon The Appliance Doctor
I happened to be up this morning and tuned in to 760, and Joe Gagnon was on live with a two-hour “Home & Appliance Show”. He did mention, without any further explanation, that the show had been off the air for the last couple weeks. Of course, someone did call in with a question about a stove that they’ve had since 1971, so things were back to normal on the show.

Re: Joe Gagnon The Appliance Doctor
Joe is leaving WJR after next week. Sounds like it wasn't his decision.
