FIFY.

What is interesting is that ESPN and others have yet to report this.

Rose was in Nashville on Sunday appearing with other members of the Big Red Machine at an event hosted by his agency. He died sometime on Monday at his home in Las Vegas; it hasn't been disclosed when he may have returned home from Nashville, how long after he returned that he was found, and the circumstances around the discovery of his body.

Count me among those who think MLB should have come off its high horse years ago and inducted Rose into the HOF. Now? Well, MLB's position was that it was a "lifetime ban." Well, his lifetime is now over. What happens to the ban? Watch Rob Manfred tie himself into knots trying to figure out how to keep Rose out now that he's passed.

EDIT: According to the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner in Nevada ... the official cause of death for Rose was determined as hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Rose had also been battling diabetes mellitus, officials added. His death was ruled a natural one.

After the way the league let Ohtani get away with gambling through his interpreter, they MUST let him in.

R.I.P. Pete Rose he should be in the Hall Of Fame and should've been restated years ago by MLB so what that Pete bet on baseball. They have known racist in the Hall Of Fame Detroit Tiger Ty Cobb a few more in that era as well lets get a gambler into the Hall Of Fame in Pete Rose.

I wish we could get this false legacy of Ty Cobb put to bed once and for all. Here, see if this doesn't change your mind.

As far as Rose is concerned, let's also not forget "Shoeless Joe" Jackson. Baseball must also reconsider all known steroid users. Do I really care if these guys never enter the Hall of Fame? Not really. They're all still in the record books.

It was a good article Ty Cobb is one of the best baseball players of all time. Why didn't his family speak up that his book wasn't true and speak up about it, being a ghostwriter making up stories they should've brought the lawsuit even after Ty's death to at least set the record straight. Not saying it will change people's mind because it's been out there for decades now.
