I wonder what the feeling is behind the scenes at the station. It seems to be always about him for attention. Is it true that Bryan Bachman is leaving because of him?
turn up the radio! mighty in might!

He’s calling out the people who criticize him specifically for being gay, and even gives specific examples. I’m not a big Custer fan at all, but as a gay man myself I will say your post makes you sound incredibly privileged.
Re: Seriously, it’s 2022
OMG - that article is sad. Custer wants to make it all about his sexuality as the reason people don’t like him. The reason I don’t like him and won’t watch TV5 for news is because he comes across as a smug, narcissistic, self centered jackass on air. It’s so apparent that it’s all about him and this article makes that so apparent. Besides, one of his chief rivals at another station is also gay but is nothing like Custer. I so hope TV5 doesn’t renew Custer’s contract.
I work with at least two gay people at work and frankly don’t care their sexuality.

What's wrong with being happy?

People put stock in winning an Emmy? Gay or otherwise? I counted 73 of them handed out last year. An expensive, but not very exclusive club.

Well… she’s not even trying to hide it anymore. This has NOTHING to do with his sexuality. Frankly, he’s using it to gain attention, avoid legitimate criticism, and set himself apart from others.
Name one thing Custer has done that Terry Camp has not done, yet Terry seeks no attention.
Re: Seriously, it’s 2022
Imagine the lawsuits and hoopla if they were to let him go. Gay5 would have a real PR mess on there hands. I think that Custer is counting on that, so he can keep being smug and arrogant without fear of repercussions.Realist wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 4:46 pmOMG - that article is sad. Would he honestly have a case if they didn’t renew his contract? That’s the prerogative of the employer. Unless there is some contract language that not renewing it has to be for just cause, he has no legal leg to stand on.DAC wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 7:23 pmImagine the lawsuits and hoopla if they were to let him go. He states that he had a hard time in school, and that is true as someone took his glasses and threw them in the toilet because he was being obnoxious.
