Sure, why not? If you're going to do that however, it's follows you should cancel the debates as well if the intent is to remove the need for leaders to spontaneous respond to questions.

[EDIT: I'd be remiss not to ask what precipitated the question? Did those cleaver rascals in the press, against all probability, manage to get Trump to say something racist/sexist/economically unsound/scientifically inaccurate/morally repugnant? If so, sorry I missed it because it seems doubtful for something like that to happen again anytime soon, right?]

I don't know how plugged in to Michigan politics you are these days, but this is EXACTLY what Whitmer just instituted.

I really don't care who is doing it, it's bullshit. The only reason I came after Trump specifically was that's whose name was in the thread title.
