The Tigers win in 11 Inngs comeback from 3-1 to tie the game up in the 9TH & 10TH & 11 Inngs 6-5 Tigers. I still believe the Royal was out at 3RD I didn't think there was enough to overturn the call in my opinion at the top of the 11TH.

They got a win for the skipper on his big night.

Flaherty pitched well in his Dodgers debut.

Ohtani stole three bases, had two hits, a walk and three strikeouts.

They beat Oakland 10-0.

Hurter coming up from Toledo, not to start but "bulk relief". Apparently Sammons isn't a starter either as he was used last night. Still a two man rotation apparently. Perhaps they should stretch Holton out since he's done well in his opens?

No word on who is getting sent down for Hurter, probably Hanifee or Guenther.

Nice to see Bligh Madris doing so well. This is his third team, and his third chance. Sometimes you have to bounce around before you get it together, like Chauncey Billups. Also puts more pressure on Torkelson, with the competition at first base.

Guenther sent down. Lefty for lefty.

Small sample size, but Madris has performed much better than I thought. Continuing to play him while he's producing is the right move.

Tork should stay in Toledo the rest of the season, in my view. Let him compete for the job in Spring Training.

Horrendous management leaving an obviously hittable Shelby Miller in when Foley was quickly throwing. This loss is on Hinch.

Good to see Parker Meadows providing some offense. Even Baez had a hit, raising that average to a robust .181

But -1 for that bone-headed flub in the bottom of the ninth, letting the easy final out drop in centerfield. :rolleyes That could very well have presaged another heart-wrenching loss as it brought the tying run to the plate.

He made up for it last night.

My neighbor just told me about that catch, I must've missed it. +1 for Meadows.

-1 for Vilade. :? I watched the replay over and over and still couldn't see how the ball left his glove to roll all the way to the wall. The Tigers are becoming the poster child of 9th inning drama.

Vilade gets all the blame but Vest created the situation.

Two ninth inning gut punches in five days.

The AL Central is getting much tighter. Minnesota is 3.5 back, and Kansas City at 4.

I thought Minnesota will eventually catch Cleveland.

The Royals already have more wins than in 2023.

And the Tigers continue to roll out a AAA caliber roster. Hitting Madris fourth is not cutting it for me.

Vilade has been shaky fielding of late. His bat has cooled off too. Still a small sample size but with Madris also able to play the outfield, his spot will be in jeopardy if Tork is brought back as is rumored.

Giants won tonight 3-2 on a sacrifice fly from Mark Cahna.

The Tigers allowed no hits through six, and still lost off three sacrifice flies.
