A few years ago, I predicted that Biden would be re-elected and then there would be a series of one-term presidents for about 20 years or so, then we would have a major crisis that would occur. This blows my prediction.

Great so you support putting all of them through a formal court process. We’ll reconvene when that’s done in the year of our lord 3199.

Or just not let them enter until AFTER they've passed the vetting process.

And tie "excess unwanted immigration" (functionally, everyone that can't pass the vetting process) to the trade coming across the border. Too much "excess unwanted immigration" and that cuts into the incoming trade, either through higher tariffs (that would pay for border control) or outright bans on certain products. Then maybe their government would take a more active interest in the folks they let into their country that are only headed to their northern border.

For kicks and giggles I have been listening to a lot of conservative talk radio and the hosts are going insane. They have no real clue as to how to talk about Harris so they are on this kick of democrats calling Trump and Vance weird. They don't understand why. Listen to both of them and it's obvious. Talk radio is going to be very entertaining between now and election day.

The problem for the Republicans is that they don’t seem to be able to come up with an answer. The failure here in strategy is mind blowing.

It truly is. How could they have not even considered the possibility that the VP would be the Democrat candidate for 2024? I am sure it was speculated here on this site but it came as a complete surprise to the Republicans.

I've occasionally been peaking at redstate.com, and it had this comedy piece today: https://redstate.com/wardclark/2024/07/ ... y-n2177589
Sergio Garcia, granted, isn't a drug dealer; he isn't a rapist or murderer, and if he had come to the country legally, may well be an upstanding citizen. But we are either a nation of laws or we are not, and where the left and Kamala Harris are concerned, when it comes to immigration the law can just be ignored or worse, denied. Garcia should have been deported and required to follow the legal process, and that's a fact.

This is a preview of a possible Kamala Harris presidency; ignoring the law, denying it exists whenever it suits. She is on record: While she was AG in California, that state started offering driver's licenses to illegal aliens - in effect a state-issued identification that makes it vastly easier to remain in the country illegally. She was anointed as the "Border Czar (Czarina?) which the Harris campaign and national Democrats have denied ever since - although there was ample documentation at the time - and she did nothing whatsoever to get the oozing sore that is our southern border under control.
It's fair to have a nuanced view of immigration challenges, but this isn't it. This is someone who has a better life because of Kamala, and really that's why immigrants have come to this country throughout our history. This reeks of desperation and fear.
248 years was a pretty good run

They can't figure out what facet of hate will land with Harris. Truth is that attacking a WOC doesn't work for Conservatives to win the independent voter.

Just think of the difference in the dynamic had Trump chosen the 2nd most popular Republican in the primaries as his VP candidate. Nikki Haley on the ticket and it's a completely different ballgame.

Look at Eric Don Jr and JD and tell me Trump was connecting the dots to victory.

Maybe Trump might consider finding someone who can read a book as part of the vetting process next time.

If he loses again in 24, the party will stick with him and nominate him again in 28.

:rollin. I would never underestimate the stupidity or lack of consciousness of the Republican party, but I would think even these idiots would see the light by 2028 and not elect an 83 year old Donald Trump.
