Vice President Kamala Harris will make her first visit to Pennsylvania as the Democratic Party’s likely presidential nominee next Tuesday, and will be joined by her yet-unnamed running mate, the Harris campaign confirmed.

The two will barnstorm cities in seven swing states in four days. In addition to Philadelphia, they'll hit western Wisconsin, Detroit, Raleigh, Savannah, Phoenix and Las Vegas.

I don't know what the bettors over at P.I. know, but shares of Shapiro have skyrocketed in the past hour to 60c.

Even more so now, Kelly has dropped to 3rd on that site. Other betting sites have Shapiro as the favorite, but not nearly as large.

Kelly, Shapiro and Walz are said to be the final three contenders, per CNN.

In what could be a close Senate with respect to which party controls the chamber, Harris might NOT want to pick Kelly, but that is mere conjecture on my part.

Arizona has a Democratic Governor and his seat is not up. They would not consider him otherwise.

Depends how election law works there. I would be surprised if a governor appointed replacement would be permitted to serve the balance of Kelly's remaining term. But hey, I could be completely wrong about that.

I assumed an open election for his seat would need to occur in 2025 at the latest.

His current term runs through 2028.

I think the special election would be held in 2026.

If Trump wins PA and GA, that's it, no matter how MI, WI, AZ, and NV play out.
If Harris wins PA, then Trump MUST win either MI or WI, or both if he lost either GA or AZ.

The electoral map slightly favors Trump at the moment, but that goes right out the windows if PA goes blue.

If Trump were to end up somewhere between 270 and 273 (there are several plausible paths to those numbers), then faithless electors become the big story.

Unfortunately he’s probably the best guy for it. I have a bulldozer and a cliff handy. The people who get pissed at him are gonna be real pissed when Trump gives a blank check to Bibi to do whatever he wants in Gaza.

Progressives and pro Palestinian folks who can’t think strategically about this or at least recognize how infinitely worse Trump would be and vote accordingly don’t deserve to speak up. That’s the polite version. For the less polite version see the first paragraph.

That’s what I have tried to tell people, but certain people don’t listen. I was literally called a Nazi for “failing to recognize and call out a genocide”. Think about that one.

I don’t think the far left Palestinian protestors realize how bad they look hurting Jewish college kids. And I am a supporter of the Gazans(mostly).

I was told I was a “Zionist” and should be “ashamed for supporting Pissreal” simply for asking that Jewish kids on campuses be left alone.

But I highly doubt a true Zionist would support a 2 state solution.

Both sides need to calm tf down.
