For the record, I am - at the moment anyways - disappointed in the Trump campaign's lack of focus. If I were the one advising, I would say focus on her voting record as a Senator, her walking in lock-step with Biden's policies as VP, and in particular, I would go hard after her about our southern border problem. She was assigned a prominent role by Biden in dealing with the border crisis, and well, we see how well that worked out. If you remember, Kamala avoided visiting the border for some time, even leading up to the now-infamous interview with Lester Holt where she said "well, I haven't been to Europe, either."
You realize that visiting the border is just a photo-op right? Additionally the individual policies put forward by Democrats usually poll well… it’s the fear tactics of Republicans that hurt them.
If she’s such a weak candidate why is Mr. “Any time any place” terrified of her?
A majority of Americans (anywhere from slim majority to large majority depending on the poll) support mass deportations.
And I don't buy into the narrative that Trump is "terrified" to debate Kamala. I read the same nonsense leading up to the Trump-Biden debate and we all know how that one turned out.

Then how come he suddenly is making noise about not agreeing to do the one in September? He was said to be STUNNED at how bad the debate went for Biden. Harris would clean his clock and he is well aware of that with no chance for an accidental disaster like the first debate.
You're dreaming if you think Harris would "clean his clock." She may perform better than Biden did, but let's not forget that Trump debated another woman in the Presidential debates in 2016 - and won the election.

They should be focused on getting him out of the race and getting a non-criminal at the top of the ticket.
So now you'd like to overturn the will of nearly 22 million (mostly) Republican voters, 76% of whom voted for Donald Trump in the primaries?
I thought that kind of nonsense constituted an insurrection in your view.
22 million imbeciles? Sure!
Well certainly within the 80 million or whatever the number was of voters who voted for Biden in the 2020 general election there were 22 million imbeciles - you ok with throwing away their votes?

A felon shouldn't be on the ballot. Furthermore, if you're stupid enough to vote for him, maybe you are not serious enough to deserve the right to vote.

Harris IS NOT Hillary. You are delusional… the race has changed.

People are clamoring for something new. One reason why Trump beat Hilary, they thought he was an outsider and she was obviously not well-liked. That's flipped with Kamala.

Precisely and right now Vance is turning off even some Republican women with his inexplicable history of bizarre comments about women and people without children. The black community is energized as are young people. I mean this “LEFTIST!” Thing has been tried against every Democrat for decades… Obama won, Biden won, Kiersten Sinema won.. the two guys in Georgia. It’s not some cure-all when they simply don’t have a response even though Beemer seems to think it’ll just make her support evaporate. That’s nonsense.
The Trump campaign has to walk a very fine line. Atta k, for lack of a better word, her voting and policies without attacking her as being a woman and one of of color at that. I also think he needs to change his VP candidate as fast as possible. Harris also needs to choose the right VP candidate and I along with many others think it should be Kelly. I think it may be days after the election before we know the win we unless it is a blowout.

Imagine his howls if it’s a blowout. Good grief. We should know in the next week or so who Harris picks if not sooner. The rules to get her nominated that were pushed up because of Ohios deadline require POTUS and VP candidates and I believe unless someone challenges her voting commences August 1 or there abouts. If she does gain a challenger they get a week to make their case to the delegates and August 7th is when voting starts.
Trump dumping Vance is an interesting idea. From what I've read, he'd pretty much have to do it in the next few days without causing all kinds of problems from a rules standpoint.
I doubt he'd consider Nikki Haley though given how far apart the two are form each other policy-wise. Plus picking a woman, after dumping Vance, would be ridiculed endlessly for being an admission that he can't win with women voters.
Interesting idea Turkey Top. I can't see Vance getting through the process for the court although ambassador to some small country may work. Trump needs the female vote and Haley would be a H*** help there.
