A $20 watch with illumination would solve this 'problem'...

Are Kosher folks allowed to stay at the Hampton Inn?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Or, if they had just left the damned clocks in the rooms, there'd be no problem to solve. I can't believe anyone objected to having a clock in their room, even if they didn't use it.

Using their logic, they should remove all the TVs from the rooms, because guests like me never watch it.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Or god forbid you get a phone and have it next to your bed and tap it to reveal the time like the entirety of humanity…

Right. Buy a phone and pay for a monthly plan, just so I can see the time on the half dozen nights a year I'm in a hotel room.

The hotels used to provide that amenity for their guests.

Still searching for "the problem"...

Quickie Quiz: Does your bike have a clock?

I'd assume your car does, or you would not have purchased it...

Wow.

Two pages of discussion based upon the alleged remarks of a minimally paid front desk attendant who seems to have been elevated here to the role of CIO of Hilton/Hampton and assumed to be speaking for the chain.

Slow news week. Waste of time.

The car does have a clock. My bike has too. It's part of the bike's computer. But I rarely look at the one on the bike. I only ride the bike during the day and it's easier just to look at my watch.

Sure, he's only a desk clerk, But he probably gets asked about it so many times every day, they've given him a script of what to tell people.

I stay in tons of Hilton properties. The last Hampton Inn for me was that shit hole in Kalamazoo. It had a clock. I remember because it was too bright so I unplugged it.

I love the newer concept hotels that require you log into your streaming service and offer no cable or ota channels. That's the future.

I guarantee you were the first to ever ask.

But I wasn't asking. I just went down to report a theft.

This just marks the culmination of what has been a long, slow decline in hotel amenities. It started when they got rid of the hitching posts out front. Next to go was the shoeshine stand in the lobby.

I could care less about a clock, but I would want radio!

They stopped putting radios in the rooms years ago., but I never missed them. They were never any good. I always take my own radio with me.

If you brought your own phone, you wouldn't need a radio.
