Well, Cronkite's daughter played the Patty Hearst character in "Network." The director, Sidney Lumet, had been Cronkite's director on "You Are There."

I don't know how I missed it for 20 years but the CBS Evening News intro was voiced by Walter Cronkite until his death. Then Morgan Freeman took the job and then it's off to I have no idea
