THAT is a first. Especially since there is no real money involved.

What a joke - bullshit offensive foul on UConn with 3.9 left...

Couldn't agree more, Matt. Just a horseshit call to make sure Caitlin is playing in the final. Ratings.

I'd like to third that assessment -- a total bullshit call, but it did look legit.

It was 100% the right call. She did not have position, she stepped in to the pick and extended her arm. A referee who ignores that call probably has money on UConn.
If you think there wasn't a foul your nuts. If you think there are no fouls at the end of a game your nuts.

More people agree. Except cry baby players who want officials to ignore some fouls and call some nonfouls.

Do you think there was NOT an illegal pick?
Or do you think the officials should ignore it?

I think they let the same play go throughout the game, and in the first half especially. I don't think it should have been called.

So you don't think a moving screen should be called despite it being a violation in the rule book?

That to my eyes was one of the most blatant moving picks you ever see. By there very nature they are subtle.

I think referees call plays/games differently. Players adjust to that. This game was officiated pretty loosely throughout. I don't think that call was consistent with the way the prior 39 minutes and 50 seconds were.

I hope that Iowa will beat the unbeaten South Carolina Gamecocks tomorrow which will be the most watched ladies national championship game ever. Which I think will be 16 million or 17 million maybe more to see if Caitlin Clark wins a national championship.

I hope South Carolina blows the doors off of Birdie Clark's team.
