WNEM Super Bowl message

Unread post by organman95 »

During the break last night I saw a "thank you" message for WNEM 70 years. Will there be some anniversary special?

Yup - and immediately switched to WLNS, and luckily pulled in enough signal to watch the rest of the game. Impressed by UHF-14's signal, no doubt.

That was going to be my next move. I get 6 and 53 pretty good here just east of Hemlock. I want to boost my antenna heighth another 10 foot and see if I get any more channels....Using simple RCA directional antenna towards Lansing and an Antenna Direct Clearstream 4MAX pointed south east to get all Saginaw area channels, including getting 17 out of Midland and its subchannels, although not much on them...

FAIRBANKS: Are you allowed to increase your antenna height that much? In my area, we are limited to 28 feet above ground for the TV antenna.

Good tips here:

Also, I put on a signal booster with an FM filter--reduces clutter.
