WNEM Super Bowl message
During the break last night I saw a "thank you" message for WNEM 70 years. Will there be some anniversary special?
Re: WNEM Super Bowl message
Friday, February 16 will be the 70th Anniversary of WNEM 5.

SO KC driving down late in the game and TV 5 cut into a commercial break...think it was 2-30s before they rejoined the game...luckily we did nt miss anything..anyone else see that happen?

Yup - and immediately switched to WLNS, and luckily pulled in enough signal to watch the rest of the game. Impressed by UHF-14's signal, no doubt.fairbankshockeypuck wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 9:36 am SO KC driving down late in the game and TV 5 cut into a commercial break...think it was 2-30s before they rejoined the game...luckily we did nt miss anything..anyone else see that happen?

That was going to be my next move. I get 6 and 53 pretty good here just east of Hemlock. I want to boost my antenna heighth another 10 foot and see if I get any more channels....Using simple RCA directional antenna towards Lansing and an Antenna Direct Clearstream 4MAX pointed south east to get all Saginaw area channels, including getting 17 out of Midland and its subchannels, although not much on them...

It happened to everyone
Re: WNEM Super Bowl message
FAIRBANKS: Are you allowed to increase your antenna height that much? In my area, we are limited to 28 feet above ground for the TV antenna.

Also, I put on a signal booster with an FM filter--reduces clutter.
