SUPER SUNDAY!!!

Unread post by Honeyman »

I don't think I've ever been less excited for a SB. The Lions loss still stings.....how great today would be if they were playing.

Anyway, my only bet is a small one on the over (47.5). My prediction is KC 31 SF 27.

I’m in the same boat. Honestly wish both teams could lose.

If I have to root for someone, hoping the 49er’s win to validate their playoff wins weren’t flukes. Additionally, I HATE Kansas City sports fans (had a bad experience watching a Tigers game there) and I can’t stand the cocky and arrogant Patrick Mahomes

I'm gonna have to at least have it on channel 6. My 12-year-old will want to see any time Taylor Swift is shown. Even if it is only two or three times.

OK BUT: California sports can be just as bad. On Wednesday night, the Kings were showing the play where that should've-been-an-INT instead bounced off the facemask of Vildor on repeat, before facing off against the Pistons (...who they proceeded to lose to, 133-120 :D ).

Like - the Chiefs may be...the Chiefs, but I have a hard time NOT thinking of San Fran as the heels in this matchup (and that was true even before Wednesday). Fuck them - Chiefs for the repeat!

I'm watching the ads...

Michelob Ultra and Coors Light are the beers?

No wonder this country is so screwed up.

No real stand out ads yet, and the cameos aren't landing very well.

Did everybody think Nantz and Romo were as terrible as I did during that broadcast?

Admittedly I only followed along with the score until near the end of regulation and then turned it on - but, see above: I'm digging the outcome. :D

I do question the 49ers opting to get the ball first in overtime given playoff OT rules. By deferring, you effectively get one extra down every set of downs when you have the ball since you HAVE to go for it at least until you're in scoring range.

The first 3 quarters were boring as fuck. The 4th and OT were decent as was the halftime show. 6/10 due to both teams being so easy to hate.
