Another useless sub-channel. It airs the same 7 Black sitcoms day in and day out. How much of The Parkers, Half &Half, Girlfriends, The Game, Sister Sister, One on One and Moesha can we handle? What a waste of digital bandwidth.

Useless? Why, because they are Black audience-oriented?

I'll bet you think differently about the Grit channel...

I would agree. There is plenty of market for African American programming in Detroit.

No, not because they’re Black sitcoms but the fact of the same 7 shows repeated. Why not have some variety. The programming will burn out fast. Hell, put on some Classic Soul Train shows from the 70’s on the weekend or do something different on the weekends, There is a lot of Black programming to choose from. Another waste of digital bandwidth is ION TV with repeated content and they’re on a full power signal, how many times can they air the same 5 or 6 shows day in and day out. After a short while it becomes boring television. Seriously, Grit channel :rollin.

Yes, there is plenty of market for African American programming in Detroit, but how many African Americans watch this type of show, in particular reruns that are over 10 years old?
