You asked that question as a "gotcha" question, not really wanting an honest answer, but rather with the motive of being ready to pounce on the first person who said they'd vote for Trump in the general.

Everything is relative. While I am now of the opinion that Trump would be significantly worse of a choice than other certain Republicans, each and every one of the Democrats currently speculatively in the running would be infinitely worse than Trump.
Who would join his administration?

Secretary of Defense - Mike Lindell
AG - John Eastman
Secretary of Agriculture - MTG

Does that seem competent?

In a lengthy statement on Thursday night, Mr Trump dismissed the Florida governor as a political lightweight who had come to him "in desperate shape" when running for his first term in office in 2017.

"Ron had low approval, bad polls, and no money, but he said that if I would Endorse [sic] him, he could win," Mr Trump said. "I also fixed his campaign, which had completely fallen apart."

He went on to complain that Mr DeSantis - whom he is nicknaming "Ron DeSanctimonious" - was "playing games" by refusing to rule out a presidential bid.

"Well, in terms of loyalty and class, that's really not the right answer," Mr Trump added.

Oh, the irony of Trump invoking "class" in light of this statement. I didn't like this behavior when he directed it at his Republican opponents in 2016, but I tolerated it. Now this is too much. DeSantis is one of the few bright spots for the Republican party right now and for Trump to unleash this kind of rhetoric towards him is not only completely classless, but is very unwise from a political standpoint at this point in time considering that Trump is arguably to blame, at least in-part, for the Republican's poor showing in the midterms.

Him going after DeSantis may finally be the one thing that separates some of his own supporters away from him. I personally have had enough.

That said, I sure as hell won't be voting for any Democrats any time soon, but I will not be supporting Trump during the primaries. If he somehow gets the nomination, the Republican party will be in big trouble.
Bump.

A lot has obviously changed in the last 9 months.

Do I need to bump the post where you're fawning all over Trump?

Trump is still a dumpster fire and DeSantis is a sinking ship… what’s changed?

Trump is now a 4 time indicated dumpster fire and DeSantis is a sinking ship… what’s changed?
Fixed it

I'm watching a Trump interview with Wawa Walters from 1990.

Guy owns casinos, hotels, pays 95 million for land in Manthattan, has his own airline, and does in the interview in the building with his name on it that has magazine covers of him on the walls...and THIS is the "friend of the common man"? This is the guy that's gonna bring down the elites? We saw this coming back in 1990. Jesus Christ, man 😆

I think I need to remind people that he is a trust fundie.

An economist took his worth in 1984, and estimated what his worth should be in 2008ish if he had just invested in index funds. It was roughly a billion dollars more than he is worth today.

No matter the subject the man is a moron who would be absolutely nowhere had he not had wealthy parents. The reality is he’s that loud old oafish blue collar guy people find obnoxious but don’t exclude from everything inexplicably.

"blue collar"??!!?!??!?!? He's a rich kid that has been trying his entire life to gain acceptance into the elitist circles but they all think he's a clown so he got bitter and decided to cosplay as some common-man warrior.

I'm saying if we go to an alternate universe and he was born into a middle class family he would never have amounted to a whole hell of a lot. The reality of who the man is at that point is the stereotype of a slob tradesman type from whatever TV show you like at most. He's got no special magic that allows him to get where he is or anything absent hitting the lottery and being born into it.
