I wish Minnesota or Cleveland would get on a hot streak so that we can get a more realistic view of the Tigers season. I picked up the latest USA Today Sports Weekly, and read about all the major league teams. The Tigers have a ways to go with their development, compared with other teams.
I also read that a lot of teams need starting pitching. Scott Harris should definitely be open to offers for Rodriguez and Lorenzen. But hopefully he can show better judgment than Avila did with the Verlander trade—that is, get some players who can immediately help.

Maybe he just doesn't want to move to California. Can't say I blame him.Rodriguez also has a no-trade clause that gives him the right to block trades to 10 pre-selected teams (of which the Dodgers were one).
