The FCC is proposing realloting Channel 264C3 to Bear Lake, MI.

Guessing,if this station goes back on air @100.7,it would displace Good News Media's Cadillac translator.

Depending on where the full power site would be located. If it were located near Bear Lake (or roughly anywhere west of US-31), the translator could stay.

The tower is still there, at the north Manistee-Benzie county line, west of U.S. 31.

Ground level there is over 300 feet above average terrain. About as much as ski resort tower locations in Michigan. The problem is that everyone wants to get into Traverse City, but there's that huqe ridge just West of Traverse City that blocks signals from that direction. That's why there are so many translators and boosters on that ridge, as well as station towers.
