Little bit of winter Tropo
Hearing all of the tri-cities stations as well as WGDN and a few outliers in stereo this morning from Sumpter Township. Z93 really screams in nowadays without IBOC on WDRQ.

here just southwest of the Toledo city limits, WHNN all-Christmas from Saginaw was overpowering normally strong semi-local WMTR on 96.1 this morning and early afternoon

Re: Little bit of winter Tropo
Last few days have seen some Tr enhancement. Nothing much exciting, but a little fun for the winter season.
Right now I'm hearing WWDK no matter which direction I point the antenna. Tri-Cities, Flint, Cleveland and SW Ontario stations are in well. 105.1 and 105.9 are getting weak when pointed SE (meaning WQXK Salem OH, as well as WNKN Middletown OH are eating away at them)
Cleveland co-channel FMs don't seem to be disturbed atm

Re: Little bit of winter Tropo
I'm pulling west and north this morning. Many Grand Rapids and Saginaw stations are coming in well, some at the expense of Detroit stations (even some Lansing come in like locals here).

I'm in the Lansing area at the moment and most Detroit stations were in like locals last night. So were WEMU and WQKL. Windsor too, which isn't easy with locals (or semi-locals) right next door. WLEN Adrian poked through on 103.9 in the null of WRSR, WGTE was in on 91.3 battling with WCSG, 103.7 WCKY (a pretty frequent visitor since 103.7 is a pretty open frequency here despite the Smile FM in Ionia County) was quite strong too. Also pulled in WBCY Archbold on 89.5 over semi-local WCMU.

All of those did except WBCY and WQKL, but 107one kept a consistently strong signal all night. I usually receive WTLZ on 107.1 in that locale.radioandtventhusiast wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 12:29 pmDid any of them have RDS?ChrisWL1980 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 1:16 pm I'm in the Lansing area at the moment and most Detroit stations were in like locals last night. B93 was still pounding in by the time I got home to Whitmore Lake but was later lost to WRCL. I also had 107.7 WRKR, Win 98.5, Star 105.7, 103.3 KFR, US 103.1, Banana 101.5, 99.7 WUGN, 98 KCQ, Mix 98.1 Defiance, FM 96 London, Mix 95.7 GR, Cool FM 95.1, 94.5 The Moose, 94.3 CKSY, Z93 Midland, 90.7 WNFR, 90.3 WCPN, and Smile FM 88.9 Lapeer County. Nothing new or earth-shattering, but above average for winter.
