A place to discuss broadband, streaming video, cable, and satellite services (not programming). Bitch about your crappy cable, satellite or streaming video provider here! This is also the place to talk about channel line-ups, packages, and special offers.

Just signed up for frndly...usable on Roku, Android, ios, and PC/Mac browser. First week is 'free', but you have to sign up for it to try it. You can quit it if you don't like it.

I went with the $89 a year deal.....about 40 channels with a virtual DVR option. 2 devices can stream at a time.

The programming has a lot of the old stuff I like....MeTV, Decades, etc. Naturally a lot of this is available on subchannels, but I don't have an outside antenna nor do I have coax distribution throughout the home.

After a week, I'm pretty impressed. The DVR option makes it worthwhile, as a lot of the nostalgia TV has heavy spotloads. Poof...they are gone.

The box that many broadcasters won’t look outside of was made in 1969 and hasn’t changed significantly since.

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
