In the game of Six Degrees of Separation, Ron (& Alex) are connected to Dorothy Kilgallen (as well as Arlene Francis, Bennett Cerf & John Charles Daly).

^ I am, too, because I once knew a WML contestant. WML & The Ed Sullivan Show emanated from the same building, & since her appearance was just weeks before the Beatles landed, I would tease her that she just missed being part of history.

Yeah, I guess I should understand that a Titan Of Brokered Radio like Ron has “people who do things for him” while he’s busy tending to other things (Match Game, anyone!?).
On that 2017 podcast that I just posted, Alex emphatically points out that three months worth of podcasts had been posted. Back in the days when the producer conscientiously took care of things like that...

Kurt's probably upset with himself because he didn't ask Roger Faulkner how many left-footed kickers were in soccer, as a followup to his question to Paul Woods about left-handed shooters in hockey.

I have it on good authority that, in 2-3 weeks, Ron will add Jimmy Carter to the list of luminaries he’s had on his show. Among the questions the notoriously well-prepared Ron plans to ask the former president, blind & now in his 99th year, is,
“What does the future hold for Jimmy Carter?”

Or maybe, who are the best left footed skaters in hockey

The answer is probably found in this article:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... ith-death/

And about halfway through the answer, Ron would cut him off by saying, "This is a sports talk show, not a religious show!"

Yes, 1-3 today. Ron will - one hopes - be welcoming either two-strikes Denny or two-strokes Terry.
