Yup. Mushmouth lost.

So, a net gain of 1 seat for the Dems in the U.S. Senate. What a disaster for the GOP in an election year that should've been a lay-up for them.

At one point late summer before Biden's douche chill speech, I thought the Dems might actually gain two net seats. I thought Johnson's seat in Wisconsin might flip.

Barnes was a little too lefty for Wisconsin.

Sinema isn't caucusing as a Republican, so I think if Manchin did switch, the Senate control would be similar to the last two years. It's interesting how the people that cheered John McCain as an Arizona maverick are treating Sinema a bit differently.

If the Democrats control the senate she would be stripped of her committee positions if she went Republican.

So people prefer to vote at polling places - I have to imagine that number is up from 2020.

I think given the high Democrat turnout, there were a lot of non-typical Voters this season. Driven by the abortion protection and voter protection referendums, I imagine a lot of people just showed up to vote and didn't think a whole lot about mailing. The number of total voters was up and I bet that was the bump for in person voting
