If I plan to unholster my gun if a bad guy with a gun shows up, then I'm bound by the rules.
That’s what I’m saying. It’s not like you’re going to walk in there, be confronted with a threat, go “oh right! I have a gun, I should use it!” And then unholster it and go to work. You’d already have some idea of what you were gonna do if confronted with something like that. We call that a plan… even if it’s an emergency plan. The sign is a backhanded way of saying if you have a gun we’ll hold onto it until you leave.
As for the other comment (not from TT) that I’m being a tool… I’m reading a sign and interpreting it literally. That’s not being a tool, that’s going by what it says.

If that's how you perceive that sign, it just shows your ignorance in such matters.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Ok then in the event of self defense (an emergency PLAN just like using a fire extinguisher) you go ahead and explain to me how the sign still allows you to unholster your weapon.

Can't happen. The bad guy won't be allowed to unholster his either.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Denny's - Titabawasee Road in Saginaw. I ordered a hamburger rare, and the manager came out and started yelling at me, and nearly called the cops, just because I ordered it rare.

Is that true?

Yes. And that happened on Christmas evening, about 6 years ago. They were just about the only place open on Christmas. I left there, and found a 24 hours Wendys open at a truck stop on I-75 at the 151.

I'm sure it's a great service for their middle class clients. But, as it isn't available to the working class, I can't really offer an opinion.
But I seem to be managing OK without it.

What do you mean it isn't available to the working class?
