Worst Cartoon You Can Remember Growing Up (Or In General)
Re: Worst Cartoon You Can Remember Growing Up (Or In General)
I had nothing against this one but just thought it was strange.

"Danger Mouse" on Nickelodeon in the 80's was so bad!!!
Re: Worst Cartoon You Can Remember Growing Up (Or In General)
I loved danger mouse but looking back it has not aged well. Count Duckula was a bit weird.

"The Littles" didn't have much for production values. Dinky Little getting sauced in "A Little Drunk" and operating the family's motor vehicle should be a lesson in good passage to us all.

Even Henson himself admitted Little Muppet Monsters wasn't good. Of course, he was also busy making Labyrinth at that time, in addition to Sesame Street, plus the final season of Fraggle Rock being in production then.
Doug's creator, Jim Jinkins, has also admitted that he was very hands-off with the Disney series in comparison to the Nickelodeon series, although the character and plot changes in the Disney version that so many of the Nick series fans hated (Doug getting a baby sister, Roger becoming rich, Patti Mayonnaise getting a new hairstyle and switching from a skirt to pants, etc.) were indeed his idea and not Disney's. And of course Doug and Roger both got new voices due to Billy West refusing to participate in the Disney series. Nevertheless, Jinkins himself agrees the Nickelodeon episodes were better.

I always liked Mr.Dink and Mayor Robert Bob White.
Re: Worst Cartoon You Can Remember Growing Up (Or In General)
I always found Pinwheel boring, all I remember is waiting for it to go off so I could see Dennis the menace, Lassie, and other cartoons
Re: Worst Cartoon You Can Remember Growing Up (Or In General)
I've developed a small dislike for Pink Panther cartoons, because of the way MeTV inserts a block of them in between blocks of classic Popeye and Tom & Jerry cartoons on Saturday morning. It's like mixing oil and water.

I still remember some of the Bozo cartoons growing up. They were somewhat funny, but mostly corny.

I may have commented before but this was one of those things that got old real fast. When I was 11-12 I thought it was a riot but then I lost interest. I tried watching it as an adult, I made it 10 minutes and turned it off.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 5:47 amRen and Stimpy.

Baggy Pants and the Nitwits was the worst of several lame NBC cartoon series I recall from my youth.

Bobbert, I watch MeTV from 7-10 a.m. each Saturday, and Yes, "Roland and Rattfink" as part of the Pink Panther half hour heading to 8 a.m. sucks.
I wish they would show a Betty Boop instead of that dreck. Color Popeye cartoons are rather dismal, compared to the formative black and whites. How many times can I watch Bluto say to a captured Olive, "Hey Baby, now how's about a kiss?" before the spinach can comes out?
