Boston Market Restaurants in the Detroit Area

Unread post by Bobbert »

I was given a Boston Market gift certificate for Christmas more than two years ago, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use it. There are no Boston Market restaurants near me (Plymouth) and the ones within 10 miles all seem to be closed. A few days ago I called the Westland location on Ford Road near Newburgh and they said their dining room was open. I drove by there today and the restaurant looked closed. Wiring was hanging out of the drive-through speaker and the inside looked like it had been cleaned out.

Does anyone know where I can find an open Boston Market in the Detroit area? Thanks.

Surprised at the number of chain restaurants that have "gone missing" over the last several years. Denny's, Papa Romano's, Boston Market, etc And some of these are in very high-traffic areas so it really makes you wonder what happened. Others?

I like the little 'mom and pop' shops, but sometimes they're too much of a gamble on what you end up with.

They still have one on 113th St in Seminole FL. But over the past two or three years, several new chains have opened up right nearby. They appear to be struggling. Parking lot is usually bare.

Boston Market is still on Hoover south of 696. Not bad food, you just have to avoid getting robbed.

I'm looking at Boston Market online. The Westland place is still showing open on their website, and Google is showing hours too.
Is it possible they moved a few blocks down Ford Road or something?

I'm not sure. I went to that location (36440 Ford Rd, just east of Newburgh) and it was closed.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I found the Novi location open (Novi and Grand River).

There is still a Boston Market in Holland (16th St and US-31). Not sure if there are any left in Grand Rapids

Canada's chickens are non union. So they are better for you. Do you really want to eat a chicken that just laid around all day doing nothing? All fat. Not good for you.

How do the chickens take care of their insurance claims though?
